I thought it was about time I made a start on my christmas cards. I`ve left it a bit later then I was hoping, but i haven`t been able to get to my stash. so here`s the first one I made last night.

Good morning everyone. Well i`m now starting to shift through my stash of goodies, after bringing everything down from storage. I`ve come across quite a few handmade cards and some paperbag albums that I made last year and will gradually be posting these off to craftygranny and Ikkie, from the m.s.e site. The cards I have sorted out for Ikkie and the christmas paperbag album will be going to craftygranny. I`ve still some sorting through, so over time I will be sending these off.

Well today I put the last of the shelves up in my little crafting corner. In the other corner of the diningroom I also have a chest of drawers, so quite a bit of storage, but I know this still won`t be enough :0). So on to the very important part, unpacking it all. CHRISTMAS has finally arrived, yahooooo!!!!!!!

CARDS FOR ALICIA

Good morning everyone. Thought I`d share some of the cards I am hoping to post to the cards for Alicia appeal. These were made some time ago and as I can`t get to my stash at the mo ( it`s packed away) I am hoping these will go towards the appeal.

Dressing up for halloween

Well I`ve been pretty busy, with halloween and sorting out my crafting space.

Both of my squirts went to Dover castle, Saturday night for a spooooky! halloween tour with nan. So on friday they decided they did want to dress up. I managed to get hold of a little devil outfit for one of them and decided to make a cape for the other one. Using the cape from the devil outfit as a pattern, I managed make another cape in black and they both had a ball.

My crafting space is now sorted, although a LOT smaller then the spare bedroom, I now have to sort out some sort of storage. I have a few ideas, but this may take some time to sort out.

Sock monkey almost done

Well, she`s almost complete, just need to add the eyes and sew on the mouth. I`ve been trying to knit a hat and scarf to keep her warm, but my knitting skills are very, very rusty, so if all fails I might sew one instead.

I`ve been wanting to start up on my cardmaking and scrapbooking again, now the evenings are closing in. Sadly I lost my craftroom(spare bedroom) to one of my little fellas a while ago, so he could have his own space. I have now marked a spot in the dining room for my little crafting space, so just need to sort out some storage space. It`ll be like christmas all over again when I get around to unpacking that lot.

My first project since starting this blog, is to make a sock monkey for a friend of my mum. I had made a couple of these before and they both had characters of their own. Unfortunatly I didn`t take any pictures, so I remembered to take a picture of this one, starting at the beginning, with the pair of socks. hoping this will take a couple of days to complete, but we will see.
