Well what a morning it is today down here in the south. Alot of drizzle today, so by the time I got back from the school run and walking the bow wow, I was a little soaked. So now he`s curled up by the fireplace with a pleading look on his face, for me to light the fire.
Anyway, back to showing you the card I made for the winter wonderland christmas blog challenge, this was the sketch that we had to follow and for a limited number of weeks you don`t have to stick with making christmas themed card, but after last year I think I will stick with the christmas theme. I kept it as it was, but you can flip/rotate it if you want.
I love this image and decided to layer it up, so the snowman, cat, and bird pops out and coloured using my promarkers. Unfortunatly I am limited to my promarker colours as I have 30, but it`s alot of fun trying to figure out my shading and colouring. I was messing about with alittle set of brand new pencils and water brush that I aquired at the local charity shop for a bargin £2.00, so had a little play with those last night and although there was only 6 pencils in the set I enjoyed using these, so maybe I need to expand my collection of colouring tools to include pencils aswell. What do ya think?
Well of to organise and tidy my little crafting corner, otherwise I can`t find anything.

ReplyDeleteHi, Just wanted to say what a lovely card. The colouring is fab and I know what you mean about being limited with colours - I have a similar amount of copics and a few promarkers too.
ReplyDeleteWow - what a great bargain from the charity shop - I would love it if one of my local charity shop sold crafty kit! I do like my watercolour pencils and waterbrush and tend to go back to them if I am not happy with my copic colouring :-)
